Dr. Cheruba Prabakar, also known as "The Fibroid Doc," is a board-certified OB/GYN and fellowship-trained minimally invasive surgeon who built her practice around one belief: a hysterectomy is never the only answer. After OB/GYN residency, she spent two additional years in fellowship training focused entirely on the most advanced, least invasive techniques for treating gynecologic conditions — so her patients aren't getting a generalist who "also treats fibroids." They're getting a surgeon who's mastered every option available to them. Most of her patients arrive exhausted, from heavy periods, chronic pain, and feeling unseen by the medical system.
